This weekend we are facing Danish side Mariehøj Kammeraterne Silkeborg, Dutch team Sportlust and Belgian outfit BeNeSoccer Academy in Pool C of the U16 portion of the tournament. Mariehøj Kammeraterne Silkeborg have yet to kick off their spring season, however, they finished second-bottom of their division in the winter season. Sportlust are sitting in 5th place in their division, having won 3 and lost 2 in their opening 5 matches this season. little statistical data exists for BeNeSoccer Academy, so they remain an unproven side.
Rossvale's schedule for tomorrow is as follows- Rossvale v Mariehøj Kammeraterne Silkeborg 13:00 (UK), Rossvale v Sportlust 14:10 (UK), Rossvale v BeNeSoccer Academy 15:20 (UK).

As day 2 of the Holland Easter Open gets underway here’s a reminder of what’s to come…
After some close encounters yesterday we unfortunately just missed out on cup qualification falling behind Sportlust on goal difference.
Despite that we have an exciting day ahead with three more games to come. First up is Danish outfit Ejby IF 1968. Then we will play St. Edmund in an all British tie before finishing up against another Danish side Herning Fremad.

The boys are welcomed to the venue by a fantastic travelling support.
It's a brilliant start in the group as we win our first game 1-0 against Ejby IF 1968!
Our defence stays solid to keep another clean sheet in a 0-0 draw.
Can we make it two from two in our second match against St Edmund?
With another 0-0 draw we complete Sunday unbeaten, finishing second in the group.

Our boys managed 2 wins, 3 draw and only 1 defeat across our 6 games this weekend. We finished 3rd on goal difference in Pool C on Saturday and 2nd in the 13-16 ranking group today, finishing in 14th place overall. Certainly a weekend to remember!

Our coach Robert Brady commented on the successful weekend,
"We were delighted with how the tournament went for us. We were up against some really tough opposition and had to battle for every point we earned but to only lose 1 match from the 6 games played is something we are very proud of. The togetherness and team work shown from the boys over the course of the weekend was remarkable."
